Admissions are made through single window counseling based on TNEA (Tamil Nadu Engineering Admissions) merit list which is prepared on the basis of class 12th score. Interested candidates can apply online or offline with required information.

Hi Sravya,
You have to research on the NET looking for universities offering Ph.D. in this field. Ph.D. admissions are bit different and requires that you must first be accepted by a supervisor. You are advised to check university websites and search for your concerned department's information, research supervisor, formalities etc. Email them about your interests, cite them your publications, papers, research proposal, etc.
It is also recommended that you share some letters of recommendation from professors to build your network. Some universities may require the GRE. You have to check these on university websites. University of Guelph

Please check for your eligibility for admission in B.Tech in AE from the criteria mentioned below. Eligibility Of the Bachelor of Technology [B.Tech] (Agricultural Engineering):
The minimum eligibility for this requires, passing the higher secondary school certificate (10+2) examination with Science subject such as biology, maths, physics, chemistry and English. Minimum percentage of marks in class 12/ higher secondary Examination is generally from 45% to 50 %. Since, most institutions have an Entrance Exam; the students who have appeared in Higher Secondary Examination and are awaiting results can apply too. Regards.
