Applicants will have to fill in two cities of their choice while filling the application form. There will be more than 10 exam centres available for students to choose from. They need to fill the two the nearest exam centres to their location. Most of the time first exam centre is often allotted to candidates but in case of non-availability second exam centre is allotted. Candidates must note that they must fill the form early as exam centres are often allocated on a first come first serve basis.

Yes, there is a negative marking scheme in the UPCATET exam. For each correct answer applicants will be given 4 marks. For each incorrect answer, 1/4th of the total marks or 1 mark will be deducted. The calculation of the score for the respective programmes will be taken into consideration by taking into account all correct & incorrect answers. After preparing the list of all candidates the authorities will prepare the list of successful applicants based on the availability of seats.

Candidates may face network issues due to server error or crash on the UPCATET 2024 official website after the declaration of the result. As soon as the result is out the website experiences heavy traffic. In such a scenario, candidates are advised to maintain patience and try again after a while. Sometimes students also face issues in checking their results due to poor internet connectivity or browser which is not recommended by authorities.
