Admission in universities or institutes offering B.Sc. In Agriculture course is done basically in two modes. It is done either based on the marks obtained in the qualifying examination (Direct Admission) or written exam conducted by the university/institution that offers the degree. The details on how to apply for B.Sc. Degree in Agriculture can be collected from the authorized website of the institution along with the information on course details and available number of seats. Basic eligibility to pursue B.Sc. (agriculture) from College of Agriculture Science-Pune is that candidate should have cleared their class 12 exams with Mandatory Subjects: Chemistry, Biology, Physics, English, Mathematics. Admission is through counseling based on the rank obtained in Maharashtra Common Entrance Test MHTCET or All India Entrance Examination for Admission (AIEEA). Age Limit:
Minimum 18 years | Maximum 23 years

The required subject combination in the higher secondary level for pursuing B.Sc. Agriculture varies depending upon the institute offering the course.
As far as some of the most reputed institutes offering B.Sc. Agriculture is concerned, in order to take admission in NG Ranga Agriculture University, having biology along with Physical Sciences in the +2 level is mandatory whereas, in order to pursue the course from Institutes like Banaras Hindu University and Annamalai University, any of the following combination will do:
Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics
