Both courses are good but Agriculture is less Competitive field and comparatively opportunities are more considering that we are primarily an agricultural country. A very small percentage of our students opt for an agricultural major, only because they don't realize its potential. Hi. Yes, you are eligible to apply for M.Sc. Agriculture courses because Agriculture is an applied part of Botany, majority of the organisations/institutions allow Botany graduates to pursue higher education in agriculture etc. You can get job in Agricultural field for that after B.Sc. Botany you can go for M.Sc. Agriculture. And after completing your master degree in agriculture you will fulfill eligibility to apply for job in agriculture field.
