You can choose agriculture Science, of course. I advise Chandigarh University for this. I'd like to start by mentioning Chandigarh University's position among the top 30 universities in India. Recently, 900+ organisations came, with the largest package being 53.11 LPA. Recently, 9500+ placements were made. The university is also NAAC-accredited with an A+ grade. In addition, a top-notch infrastructure and qualified teaching members produce top-notch education for nation-building.

It deals with things like food production, horticulture, animal rearing, rural economy and rural development, environmental health, and more. In B.Sc. Agriculture the average rank for OBC category is 5000 - 8000 AIR but do check the cut-off for the colleges you are applying.

For checking your chance of admission you have to look for your rank not percentile because the cutoffs are released in rank format not in percentile. You can check previous year cutoffs from the below link

Depends upon different university. Generally, it comes between 50-60 %. As far as I know most central universities consider at least 60% or above for the studies in Agriculture sciences. Some universities even take above 65% of percentage. Many private universities also consider 60 % aggregate for Agriculture sciences.

Yes, of course the practical is a must. For admission in University of Agriculture Sciences, you have to clear the Karnataka Common Entrance Test (KCET), conducted by Karnataka Examinations Authority (KEA). Fulfillment of eligibility criteria is a must for the application for entrance. After that candidates meeting the cutoff have to appear for KCET counselling, conducted by KEA and select UAS Bangalore.

Agriculture is a wise choice. You can work magic if you are passionate about it. So Chandigarh University is the best choice for you if you want to pursue a degree in agriculture. Food insecurity is a global issue, and future world wars may break out over a lack of food and water. Additionally, the Indian Forest Services requires B.Sc. Graduates in agriculture. In conclusion, if you are passionate, keep going.

It is not accredited by the ICAR. Consider universities and colleges that are accredited by the ICAR. Because it will be beneficial for your future and higher education. Chandigarh University is succeeding well with all types of academics, despite SRM being a good college. Students are very interested in pursuing a B. S. in agriculture. It is taught at various private universities. It's great if you get the chance to study at CU.
