In general, for KCET you have to score minimum 75% (it consists of 50% board marks and 50% entrance test marks) to get a seat inside Bangalore in decent colleges and for top colleges in top courses, this will move upto 85%. Students in general score easily upto 90% in board exams, but same students generally score only upto 70% in entrance exam, as in entrance exam, an average student can score 20 of 60 in each subject and if put extra effort they can get upto 45 of 60 and then onwards each mark requires very extra effort and knowledge and great luck. If you are having interest in agronomy, Plant pathology, Plant physiology, Agriculture microbiology, Genetics and plant breeding, Horticulture, Soil Science, Entomology, SEED Science and Technology, Agricultural Extension etc. Then you can go for B.Sc. Hons agriculture. Eligibility criteria for pursuing B.Sc.
