Yes, it's different. For M.Sc. Agriculture you have to prepare whole agriculture related subject like pathology, agronomy, horticulture, soil and Science, genetics, micro Biology and Chemistry etc. But are going for M.Sc. Agronomy then you must have to prepare agronomy subject and also other agriculture subject. A part of choosing field is depend on your interest and your cut off.

Yes, you may apply for M.Sc. Agriculture after pursuing with these three core subjects I. e. Botany, Zoology Chemistry. These are the basic three subjects which every biological stream requires at least for qualification. Pursuing M.Sc. Agriculture from the Reputed Universities of India, may lead you to huge success because they will provide maximum expose to the fields and experiments related to it. There is quite good scope of agriculture in our Nation, as Agriculture is the most important sector of Indian Economy.

Yes, you can do B.Sc. Agriculture &you have to give entrance exam to study in government institutions or you can opt private institute too. ICAR. In order to seek admission to the B.Sc. Agriculture course, students should have 10+2 or any equivalent examination. They should have completed their higher secondary school with Science stream subjects such as Physics Chemistry mathematics, and Biology.
