Chandigarh University is best. It's ICAR registered
Most of the faculty is doctorate
As far as placements are concerned, one can get placed in either
Government sector I. e Agriculture, Banking and more are recruiting graduates to fill up entry level posts. Private Sector- Graduates may find jobs as Jr. Managers at Plantations, as Executive at Fertilizer Manufacturing firms, Agricultural Machinery Industries, Agricultural Products Marketing firms, Food processing units etc.

Government. Colleges seats depend upon the percentage you will attain in Exam. But I can suggest you about private university. Go with CU. B.Sc. Agriculture is one of the most booming course these days. This programme at CLPU equips students with all-round knowledge of sector and normally includes the following: Agronomy: Basics of Agronomy, Kharif and Rabi Crop, Crop Protection, Weed Management, Irrigation Techniques, Water Resource Management, Organic Farming, Sustainable Agriculture. You should prefer Chandigarh university. There are ample of opportunities in this field both in Government and in Private sector. Getting a good job depends on various factors like from where you have done your Graduation, your skills, your knowledge about the field, the Industrial experience and exposure if you have any. A graduate/ post-graduate in this field can get appointed as an Agricultural Research Scientist, Agriculture Officer, Production Manager, Farm Manager, etc. Interested students can also opt for jobs in the field of teaching, banking, and insurance. I don't know about BHU but I can ensure you about Chandigarh University. Ranked among the top 3 private university in India in QS world Rankings 2023 and ranked 29 by NIRF rankings 2022. It has well qualified teachers. It has well manufactured and build infrastructure.

Yes, there's a high chance for that because cut-off drops drastically in mopup. You may get a good B.Sc. Agriculture college if you play smart. Best of luck for your admission.
