Dear Pratim, My friend is pursuing a B.Sc. In Agriculture programme at LPU. Let me share the details of eligibility of the programme which is you should have passed with 60% aggregate marks in: (a) 10+2 or Intermediate (with English*, Physics Chemistry and Maths or Biology or Forestry)
or (b) 10+2 or Intermediate (Agriculture)
or (c) 2 years Diploma in Agriculture after 10th or equivalent
Moreover, you have to qualify for the LPU NEST exam conducted by LPU. LPU is the first private university that got approval from ICAR. (I). The school of Agriculture was approved for accreditation for a period of five years with a GPAC of 3.42 (ii) The following degree programs were approved for accreditation for a period of five years
B.Sc. (Hons. ). Agriculture with GPAP of 3.72
Placement: Students of the School of Agriculture are placed in Dhanuka, HDFC Bank, Reliance retail, Syngenta, Bio SEED Nestle, Smur Agro, VLCC, Virbac, Sanra organics, and many more. The maximum package offered for B.Sc. In Agri. At LPU is 19.25 LPA and the average package is 3.4 LPA. The programme the LPU agriculture programme is designed with a target of holistic development of students. Dear Aman, Yes, of course, you can do an MBA after B.Sc. In Agriculture programme. In fact, you have a lot of opportunities after completion of an MBA with a B.Sc. In Agri in both government and Private sectors. I recommend you to do MBA in Agribusiness for better career prospects. Y
