As per the M.Sc. Agriculture eligibility criteria; The candidate should have a Bachelors degree in Agriculture or Horticulture or Forestry from a recognised university in India. The candidate must also have passed the degree with minimum 50% marks. So B.Sc. Zoology candidates are not eligible for asked course.

No reason of comparison between these two courses because both are great courses and have excellent career opportunities and great future scope. The choice depends on interest of the person. The B.Sc. (agriculture) degree is normally not a general degree but requires specialisation: for example, majoring in animal Science, plant protection, soil Science and agriculture engineering. Students, who have an interest in the sector of agriculture, may pursue this course.

But one point common to both is: These are both professional, career oriented programs. And this leads to another point, you must choose the college very carefully.
