And for msc non ICAR students we're not allowed to write state exams(AP, TS).The same case with some other universities too.
I have seen some seniors who were rejected in getting admission into a state agriculture Universitys for masters even after getting good rank.
When enquired the management stated that you have completed your graduation from a non -ICAR college.your were not eligible for this.
Tough you can write JRF-ICAR All Indiaexam but the no of seats will be less and competition wil

M.Sc. Agriculture: Eligibility. The candidate should have a Bachelor's degree in Agriculture or Horticulture or Forestry from a recognised university in India. The candidate must also have passed the degree with minimum 50% marks.
