The candidate should have a Bachelors degree in Agriculture or Horticulture or Forestry from a recognised university in India. The candidate must also have passed the degree with minimum 50% marks.

Admission in universities or institutes offering B.Sc. In Agriculture course is done basically in two modes. It is done either based on the marks obtained in the qualifying examination (Direct Admission) or written exam conducted by the university/institution that offers the degree. B.Sc agriculture refers to Bachelor of science in agriculture and as the name suggests it is a Bachelor degree course with good scope in country like India which is agro based. The minimum educational qualification required for pursuing same course is a higher secondary school degree with Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics/ Biology/ Agriculture as main subjects with at least 50% aggregate from a recognised board of education.
