After doing your 12th, you can participate in following entrance exams for admission in various undergraduate courses.
1. UPCATET: Uttar Pradesh Combined Agricultural and Technology Entrance Test: This is state level entrance exam conducted by Band University of Agriculture and Technology to provide admission to UP domicile candidates in agriculture and Science programmes. The qualified candidates can get admission in following colleges. The registration process of UPCATET will begin in the last week of FEB-2019.

2. UPSEE is a state level exam and administered by Dr. A. P. J. Abdul Kalam Technical University. The Uttar Pradesh State Entrance Examination or UPSEE 2019 will be conducted for admissions to various courses including Bachelor of Technology (B.Tech). This entrance test can also be given after doing the 12th. After clearing this you can get admission in B.Tech-Agri (4 Years) UG programme.

As a basic criterion of eligibility, to pursue this course the candidate needs to have attained a basic qualification of graduation in agriculture or allied fields, from a recognised institute of higher learning. The next step in the procedure is to qualify any of CAT, MAT, XAT and similar MBA entrance exams. Candidates with interest in agriculture as an academic field. Interested in exploring and resolving agriculture and farmer- related grievances in the Indian farm landscape may opt for this specialisation.
