There are in total 470 plus seats available in Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel University of Agriculture and Technology across 25 courses in 4 streams. All the  470 students gets placed in B.Tech and gets admission in all undergraduate and postgraduate courses here. In B.Sc alone 295 students can take admission depending upon th specialisation they select as there are 295 seats available in this course. Msc and Mtech have in total 107 seats available to offer to the candidates.

UPCATET is a state level exam conducted by Sardar Vallabh Bhai Patel University of Agriculture and Technology for it admission to various courses. The counseling for the UG courses in Sardar Vallabh Bhai Patel University of Agriculture and Technology will be conducted by UPCATET from June 24 onwards. The latest for the year 2023-2024 cutoff for B.Tech is 70 percentage overall.

In Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel University of Agriculture and Technology a total of 25 out of 257 UG and PG students were placed during placements last year placement of 2022. The median package offered by the university inUG (4-year) and PG (2-year) was INR 3 LPA and INR 8.33 LPA during 2022.The average salary package offered was 12 LPA. The lowest salary package offered was 4 LPA. Almost 88% of students got placed in our course. Infrastructure: Classrooms were spacious and around 2 students can stay together
