Ahmedabad University offers admission to BTech through national/state-level entrance exam. Those who belong to Gujarat domicile can apply via a valid score of GUJCET as per the ACPC norms. Admission to candidates from outside of Gujarat is offered based on the scores of JEE Main. The university allocates 50% of seats to the JEE Main qualifiers through group counselling and the remaining 50% of seats are allocated through ACPC based on GUJCET scores to students belonging to the Gujarat domicile.

This course is offered across three specialisations namely, Chemical Engineering, Computer Science Engineering and Mechanical Engineering. In order to get admission to MBA at Ahmedabad University, students need to pass Graduation with a minimum of 50% aggregate in the respective subjects. The university accepts admission based on scores of candidates in any one of the entrance exams such as CAT/ XAT/ CMAT/ NMAT/ MAT/ SNAP/ GRE.
