AHSEC

The Assam Higher Secondary Education Council is the state-level education council of Assam. AHSEC conducts a final examination every year for all newly admitted students from class 11th to class 12th, I. e. from HS 1st Year to HS 2nd Year. Assam HS examinations are conducted in two shifts, I. e. , morning shift (9:00 am to 12:00 noon) and afternoon shift (1:30 pm to 4:30 pm) across various test centers in the state. AHSEC releases the Assam HS routine around January. The exams for this year were held between March 15 and April 12, 2022, in offline mode. The exam duration for Assam AHSEC varies from 1.5 hours to 2.5 hours, depending on the subject. GRE and IELTS are both requirements for any form of study you wish to pursue. As far as an undergrad is considered, you may find certain colleges in Australia which only require an English proficiency test and not GRE. IT is important to scout such colleges and build a proper profile so as to allow a better view of things. With the recent changes, the score barrier for English proficiency tests has gone up and certain people find it difficult to achieve the same. A better alterative would be to enroll in some form of study which would then allow you to scale up to a PR and a job opportunity in Canada. One of the interesting one's that I recently encountered is this Study & Work programme where you basically get to do a course while earning part-time and once you finish the course, you can work full time for about 6 months.
