* Universals Guide to AlBE
* AIBE -The complete Preparation Manual (Showrick Thorpe)
* Guide to AIBE by D K PANDEY
* Previous year question papers of AIBE
All these books are available on any commerce website like Amazon or Flipkart. Or you can also search for the shop in your city that exclusively deals in books of law.

Hi Sarabjit,
There is no compulsion on appearing in the AIBE. If you wish to practice law in India then you must attempt AIBE. However, if you wish to make a career as a Corporate Lawyer or you wish to practise only in your home state then your law degree and state bar council enrollment would suffice. Bar Council of India will conduct AIBE 2019 XIII (13) by the first week of December 2018. BCI, the conducting body of AIBE XIII (13)2019 will be conducting the national-level law exam to award candidates with the Certificate of Practice. Hi Shashank, The exam is conducted twice a year so in the next exam, you can apply. Follow the official website and wait for the notifications. It's a simple exam but prepare well. All the best.

40% is the minimum marks required to pass in All India Bar Exam, it means that you need to answer at least 40 questions of the exam correctly to pass and once you are passed you will get 'Certificate of Practice'. Don't worry there is no negative marking in All India Bar Exams.
