Hi Rajeev, the next exam is in 2019. Bar Council of India releases the AIBE 13 Application form/ registration form through online mode. BCI is the main regulating authority of the All India Bar Examination. AIBE registration form 2019 will available in the month of March 2019. So, the candidates should apply for AIBE XIII (13) exam through online. All India Bar Examination online registration will be closed in May 2019. So, the eligible candidates can fill and submit the AIBE exam 2019 registration form before the due date of submission. Yes, you are. Your LL.B matters most for this exam. As for B.Com, it doesn't affect your eligibility. Whether you did this through correspondence or distance, it is valid as long as the institute is approved by UGC.

For every lawyer/student, it is mandatory to pass All India Bar Examination to get registered as a lawyer, and be eligible to practice as a lawyer. This is not any lawyer job, it is a mandatory exam to get yourself registered as a lawyer in the state with Bar Association. If you do not get your certificate from Bar to be able to practice, you will not have the power of attorney or vakalatnama. Without passing this exam, practising in the courts would be illegal.

And answering your query: All India Bar Exam AIBE is conducted by Bar Council of India (BCI) twice in a year. However, the dates for the December exams are not out yet.
