If the Institute is not affiliated with AIU, you will not be eligible for a Ph.D. Then, in order to apply for a Ph.D. you must have a Masters's degree by status and recognition. No, you cannot pursue a Ph.D. immediately after completing a PGDM. Post Graduate Diploma in Management (PGDM) is a Diploma course. I will suggest you to do a Ph.D. after completing your Masters's degree from a recognised University and Chandigarh University is the best option. It is one of the best institutes with NAAC A+ accredited offering a wide range of PG Programs in different streems.
