Yes, it's basically affiliated with AKTU but I will not prefer anyone to pursue civil from such colleges rather try some good colleges and still if you want you can but I am suggesting you as per reviews that I used to get from my friends studying there.

Though there is the brand value of Symbiosis. But if it non approval part bothers you then you might look for other options. At the Bachelors' degree level it does not matter much from where you do from course from. But at the time of higher degrees a well recognised college will be a plus.
