Hello,
UGC has decided that no professional course could be done by distance education mode and hence debarred all universities from offering such courses by distance education mode. In view of this, I do not think Kalinga University will be offering engineering graduation under distance mode. However, you can think of doing AMIE which is equivalent to a degree in engineering. Best wishes to you.

TarunJeet,
As per the UGC norms, the candidates must have completed the Masters degree from the UGC approved university to be eligible for the UGC NET exam. The candidates must have fulfill the eligibility criteria like 55% aggregate marks in post graduation. There is no age limit for NET lectureship but the age must be below 30 years for NET JRF. You can check the complete details for eligibility at official website. As you have completed your master's degree form the UGC Approved university, you are eligible to apply for the exam.

It is the colleges which require compulsory AICTE approval, so if you are directly studying at the university you do not need to worry. On the other hand, if you are studying in a college affiliated to some university and your course is not approved by AICTE, then it can create lot of problems.
