All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS), Bhopal was established in 2012 while AIIMS, Gorakhpur was established way later in 2019 as a part of the Pradhan Mantri Swasthya Suraksha Yojna (PMSSY) by the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare, Government of India. It is difficult to establish a point of comparison between a decade-old institute and a newly established one. However, both colleges are doing well in terms of placements and internships.
