AIIMS conduct the seperate entrance exam for admission to the AIIMS BSc nursing programme and Post-basic nursing programme. Candidates seeking admission to the AIIMS campuses in the undergraduate nursing course must enroll for this entrance exam through the official website of AIIMS. The conducting body releases registration dates, exam dates, and entire admission calendar to ensure that candidates participate in the admission process. The national-level nursing entrance exam is widely accepted and recognised.

AIIMS does not officially release any syllabus for the AIIMS for BSc (hons) nursing programme. However, taking a cue from the past question papers, candidates can prepare Class 12 Physics Chemistry and Biology topics thoroughly. They must  develop sharp acument towards current general knowledge relating to history, Current Affairs general policy & scientific research. The exam is of 2 hours duration and carry 100 marks ( CBT based).

No, AIIMS Nursing will be held only via the online mode. The AIIMS nursing 2024 exam will be a computer-based test and the candidates will be allotted separate computer systems to solve the questions.The exam will be conducted in online mode. The applicants can estimate their score with the aid of AIIMS Nursing's unique marking system. Candidates will receive one mark for each accurate response; for each incorrect response, they will lose one-third of a mark. No points will be taken away for questions that are not attempted.

The AIIMS Nursing 2023 test will be 120 minutes for the BSc Nursing curriculum, and 90 minutes for the Post Basic Nursing programme. Under no circumstances can the candidates be granted additional time. Only when the exam period has ended will candidates be permitted to exit the examination hall. Arriving at the testing location thirty minutes prior to the scheduled reporting time is crucial.

Negative marking is indeed present in the AIIMS Nursing 2024 exam. For each right answer, candidates will gain one mark; for each incorrect answer, they will lose one and a third of a mark. There are 100 questions on the BSc Nursing question paper, and 90 questions on the Post Basic BSc Nursing 2024 question paper. There is no official information available about any changes to the AIIMS Nursing 2025 exam pattern. The authorities generally releases the information about the change in the exam pattern in the official notification. So far there is no information regarding this is released on the officiail website hence the exam pattern remains same this year also.

No, candidates do not need to follow the AIIMS Nursing question paper chronologically. Candidates can attempt any question or section first according to their own convenience. Overall there will be 70 questions in the paper for which 120 minutes will be allotted to the candidate.
