AIIMS Nursing

There are two undergraduate nursing courses available at AIIMS Delhi. AIIMS Nursing 2023 Eligibility Criteria:
1- For B.Sc. (Hons) Nursing:
Gender: Only female candidates will be eligible to apply for B.Sc. Honors. Nationality: Applying students must be Indian citizens. Age Limit: The students applying must have attained the age of 17 years as of December 31st, 2021. Qualification: The student must have passed his 10+2 level exam or its equivalent from a recognised board with aggregate marks of 55% in Physics Biology Chemistry and English (50% for ST/SC). Appearing Candidates: Students who are appearing in the last year of their 10+2 level exam can also apply.
2- For B.Sc. Post-Basic Nursing:
Qualification: Students must have passed their 10+2 level examination or its equivalent from a recognised board or university. Age: Students who have passed 10+1 on or before 1989 are also eligible to apply. Registration: The students must be registered GNM and registered nurses with the SNC (State Nursing council). One should have a Diploma in general nursing and midwifery from any institution recognised by the INC. In the case of male nurses, besides being registered as a nurse with the SNC, should have obtained a Certificate in General Nursing, and instead of Training in Midwifery, training in any subject out
of the following, for a period of six months:
a. O. T. Techniques
b. Ophthalmic Nursing
c. Leprosy Nursing
d. TB Nursing
e. Psychiatric Nursing
f. Neurological and Neuro Surgical Nursing
g. Community Health Nursing
h. Cancer Nursing
I. Orthopaedic Nursing.

Admission Process for AIIMS BSc nursing is mentioned below: To start the admissions process, first register yourself at the AIIMS BSc Nursing admission portal which further involves 2-steps, basic registration and final registration. 2- Download the AIIMS BSc Nursing admit card from the official website. 3- Appear for AIIMS Nursing for the BSc Nursing entrance exam. 4- Check and download the AIIMS BSc Nursing Exam Results. 5- Appear for AIIMS Nursing for BSc Nursing Counselling in the end.Students whose names appear in the merit list will be invited for counseling and the seat allocation process via online mode. They will have to follow the steps mentioned below: 6- Fee and document submission to confirm admission. 7- Students who made it to the merit list based on the written exam were called for the PI or assessment round. 8- The final merit list has been published on the website. 9- A student's fate is decided based on their performance in both stages. Almost 3 times more students will be invited for the interview than the actual number of available seats. The assessment process will count the following criteria: Past academic record in class 12 or equivalent examination. Past academic record in the Nursing examination. Performance as a Staff Nurse.
