The BOPTM programme offered at AIIMS Delhi is a 4-year course, which consists of three years of academic studies followed by a mandatory internship for one year.Placements : There is no separate placement cell in AIIMS exclusively for the students who come through BOPTM. Nonetheless, these graduates can work for AIIMS on contract, or go to various private optical shops or venture into different businesses.
