The last date to submit the AILET 2024 application form was November 15, 2023. The last date of application for AILET 2024 has been notificed in the admission notification. AILET 2024 application forms was released on August 7, all the candidates who are interested can now apply for AILET 2024 exam. The AILET 2025 counseling registration was conducted online from December 2024 to January 2025. The counselling registration will open for candidates who get shortlisted for AILET 2025 merit lists.

Yes, the difficulty level of AILET is usually higher than CLAT as the competition is five times more for the limited seats of B.A. LL.B. And LL. M. courses available at NLU Delhi. Moreover, the exam pattern of AILET is also different than CLAT exam pattern. The cutoff marks are also higher for AILET conducted by NLU Delhi. CLAT cutoff marks vary every year but are moderate as there are 23 participating National Law Universities. Therefore, candidates can assume that AILET is tougher than CLAT exam.

NLU Delhi will conduct AILET 2024 on December 10, 2023, as it informed in a notification released on May 23, 2023. The exam date of AILET 2024 has been confirmed in press release, and the admission notification for more details has been published on the official website - nludelhi.ac.in. As announced by NLU Delhi in November 2022, the exam will be conducted in December every year, so that the admission process is completed timely. In 2022, the exam was held twice . However, now NLU Delhi will conduct AILET once in a year, in December month only to complete admission process before the academic year begins.

The difficulty level of CLAT is generally moderate while the AILET paper is usually difficult, as per students' feedback and experts' views. Note that around 3000 UG and 1000 PG seats offered by the NLUs will be filled through CLAT. However, NLU Delhi conducts the AILET exam for filling around 120 UG seats and 80 PG seats offered by the university. Given fewer seats, competition in AILET is higher.
