As per the Global Media Entrance Common Entrance Test (GMCET) The time duration of the entrance exam is 60 minutes. During this time, candidates will have to attempt 100 questions. The GMCET test will be conducted in online mode and candidates will be able to attempt them at their personal laptop or desktop from their home.

No, there is no sectional time limit in the Global Media Common Entrance Test (GMCET). Although there are 4 sections in the GMCET examination there is no specific time limit allotted to each section. The overall time of the GMCET examination is 60 minutes for 100 questions with 1 mark each.

No, there is no negative marking in the GMCET examination. It is one of the those exams which gives candidates this privilege where they can attempt as many questions as they want to attempt without even bothering about minus marking. There are a total of 100 questions asked in the exam and each question consists of 1 mark each.

As per the official exam pattern of GMCET there are 4 sections - English language and IQ, General knowledge of news and current affairs, Entertainment media knowledge and Brands and brand communication basic knowledge. The GMCET question paper will be based on these 4 sections. Each section will consist of 25 questions which will in multiple choice format. Total there will be 100 questions and the best part of the exam pattern is there will be no negative marking in the GMCET exam.

Unlike other entrance examinations, there are no interviews for the Global Media Common Entrance Test  (GMCET) exam. The admisison process of the Global Media Common Entrance Test consists of registration, filling out the application form, appearing for the examination, and qualifying it. As per their result, candidates will be given an AIR ranking and as per the ranking these qualified candidates will have to appear for the document verification process and submit the fee of the college/university they have been allotted.

Candidates can enroll themselves in undergraduate courses like BA-JMC & BJMC, BMS (Bachelor of Media Studies), BMC (Bachelor of Mass Communication), BMM (Bachelor of Mass Media), BA (Media & Communication), BSc (Animation & Graphics), BSc (Media Technologies). No, the Global Media Common Entrance Test (GMCET) exam is conducted only in online mode. Candidates can appear for the GMCET online test from the comfort of their home through their laptop or desktop. The test slots for the exam day will be informed a day before the examination. Before the exam begins, candidates will be given a time slot to appear. They will get this intimation on their registered email address and mobile number to appear at least 15 minutes before the beginning of the examination.

No, the Global Media Common Entrance Test (GMCET) exam is conducted once every month from March to October. Although this schedule is subject to change candidates are advised to visit the official website of GMCET and also stay updated through this space to get the notifications, details related to the exam schedule, and the GMCET 2024  important dates.
