The GMCET or Global Media Common Entrance Test is an all-South Asia Mass Communication entrance exam that is conducted for the admisison of qualified candidates into to various participating universities across India which offer Journalism and Mass Communication courses. From 2021 onwards, the exam will be conducted by the Global Media Education Council (GMEC).

The GMCET exam offers a lot of courses through its participating institutes. Some of the courses offered by GMCET are - BA-JMC (Bachelor of Arts in Journalism and Mass Communication), BJMC (Bachelor of Journalism and Mass Communication), BMS (Bachelor of Media Studies), BMC (Bachelor of Mass Communication), BMM (Bachelor of Mass Media), BSc (Animation & Graphics), BSc (Media Technologies), BSc (Film & Television), BSc (VFX Filmmaking), BA (Journalism Hons) and BSc Visual Communication.

Interested aspirants can apply for the GMCET from its official website: gmcet.org. The application forms had to be filled only in online mode. To successfully submit the application form candidates will have to first register on the website, fill in all the details asked, and log in using these credentials to complete the application form. To successfully submit the application form, aspirants will have to pay the application fee in online mode.
