This is the eligibility for AFCAT
Education: Graduation (min 3 years) in any discipline with min 60% marks and have passed Maths and Physics as a subject at 10+2 level B.E/ B.Tech from a recognized University with min 60% marks. Age Limit : 20 to 24 years.

Basically, there are three branches in IAF:
1. Ground Duty Branches: - Administration, Finance, HR, Educational branches are under this branch. For All branches except finance, graduation with minimum 60% is the eligibility criteria. But for finance department, B.Com / M.Com is mandatory. Minimum marks should be 60%. Age: 20-26.
2. Engineering Branches: - Aeronautical engineering is the main branch. E&C, CSE, IT, A&I, EEE are other branches. Same age restrictions applicable here.
3. Flying Branch: Requires Graduation in any discipline with PCM at class 12th science / technological Graduation preferred. Age: 20-24. Candidates must be

Below is the eligibility criteria for NDA.
For Army wing of National Defence Academy :- 12th Class pass of the 10+2 pattern of School Education or equivalent examination conducted by a State Education Board or a University.
For Air Force and Naval Wings of National Defence Academy and for the 10+2 (Executive Branch) Course at the Naval Academy :- 12th Class pass of the 10+2 pattern of School Education or equilvalent with Physics and Mathematics conducted by a State Education Board or a University.
Candidates who are appearing in the 12th Class under the 10+2 pattern of School Education or equivalent examination can also apply.
