Firstly, you can become a Steward and not an air hostess.
And to get a job of a Steward, you must complete the course of flight management, attendant. You can get these courses in an institute where they have hospitality and management courses or hotel management courses.

Yes, you are eligible for Diploma in Cabin Crew and Airline Management from PTC Aviation Academy. The minimum requirement for this course is class 12th, and you have already completed Diploma in mechanical engineering.

Yes, surely, you are totally eligible to become an Air Hostess with your intermediate qualification.You see, most airlines require a minimum of Class 12 pass from a recognized board.These airlines also select candidates who are between 18 and 27 years old, physically fit, and possess good communication skills, especially in English.

For becoming a cabin crew, the minimum height for female candidates is 157 cms and your height is 5ft which corresponds to 152cms.
Hence, I'm afraid you might not be in a position to apply for Cabin Crew profile. There are some relaxations although for those who belong to Northeastern parts of India.
You will have to check that with the airlines itself. It is mentioned in the recruitment advertisement!

* Eligibility Criteria for an Air-hostess-training programme :
-One needs to pass plus two/ or a graduate degree with a diploma/degree in Hotel Management or Tourism Management.
-The aspirant must be eligible to hold an Indian Passport and should be below twenty-five years of age with a minimum height of 157.5 centimeters. The weight should be in proportion to height.
-One must be unmarried, with normal eyesight of 6/6 uncorrected vision in each eye.
-Fluency in English, Hindi and knowledge of an international language is an added advantage.
