You can only join a domestic airlines after 12th as for international airlines you need to be a graduate.

It is not necessary to do any course to join as cabin crew in airlines subjected to meeting other criterion but preference may be given to Hotel Management graduates and /or candidates who can speak foreign languages. Eligibility criteria may vary in different airlines.

If you pursue cabin crew as your career, then you will not be able to use your education as an automobile engineer. After few years of cabin crew job, it will be difficult to get automobile engineering job.If you want to become a cabin crew and you are sure about your interests and preferences, you can go ahead with your choice of profession.

The minimum height required is 172 for cabin crew. You may opt for ground staff if your height is less than that.

Yes, you can pursue aviation course also. You have to pursue a basic course from Frankfinn or other aviation institute then you can go for this course. But, as you have done Diploma in civil best option would be to go for B.Tech in civil.

The general eligibility criterion for an air hostess in a majority of airlines is as follows:
1. Class 12th from a recognized board of education. Some airlines prefer graduates.
2. Age of candidate should be between 18 to 25 years.
3. The minimum height required is 157.5 cm and weight should be in proportion to height.
4. Good communication skills with mastery over spoken Hindi, English. Foreign language certification will be a good additional qualification.
