Vision of 6/6 is expected from candidates pursuing for cabin crew Training. But there is always certain amount of relaxation allowed to those who use specs. 6/9 is the general limit. You will have to go through the vacancy advertisement of the airline to find out the considerations allowed for those with specs.

Yes you can be a cabin crew.
In general Candidate Profile for Freshers for cabin crew is as under :
Age:Between 18 and 27 years
Minimum Height:Men - 170 cms and Women - 157 cms
Weight:In proportion to height
Educational Qualification:HSC (10 + 2). Candidates who are appearing for their HSC examinations can also apply
Physical features:Pleasing personality, clear complexion (scars, pimples and blemishes not acceptable) and good eyesight
Marital Status:Unmarried
Language skills:Fluency in English and Hindi. Proficiency in a foreign language will be an added advantage.
Interactive skills:Excellent communication and good interpersonal skills

Hi Roshan,
Interested candidates can apply online/offline with the required information. Candidate must have passed 10+2 from a recognized board.
Candidate having completed graduation from a recognized institute/ university are also eligible.
Admission is based on the marks obtained in 10+2.

Sorry Faiz. You are not eligible for cabin crew as the minimum height required for male is 170cm which is equal to 5ft 6 inches. So, you may face problem regarding job.

Beginner-Level 3

It depends on the institute you choose to join. Diploma course will be for 6 months or 1 year duration. Fee also depends on the institute. Qualification is minimum intermediate and for top airlines, graduation is must. Height should be 157cm for female and 163 cm for male.

In Air India, cabin crew who are permanent work until they attain the age of 60. Those who join as contractual work till the contract gets over (probably 5 years) or when it further extends. Other airlines also hire cabin crew on the contractual basis. It extends as per the company requirements.
