To become an air hostess, you shall take due care of your physical vital stats, your height and body weight all are important. Ensure that you do not get a permanent tattoo. Swimming and training in emergency situations is also important. Though each aviation company has its own training module before you start working and you can apply directly by going through the vacancies in the newspaper or you can join any institute for training and placement assistance.

Yes, you can. There are various short-term courses and Diploma courses that you can pursue to make a career in the aviation industry. Though it is very important to select the right college for a good start. For being an air hostess, your physical-vital stats are important. You should not have any visible permanent mark or tattoo.

Eligibility to become an air hostess:
For the admission in air hostess program, the candidate should have the following:
Age Limit: Candidate age limit within 17 years to 26 years. Height: Minimum 5 ft and 2 inches with balanced weight. Status (Martial): Unmarried (Not all airlines have this condition).

General eligibility criterion for Air Hostess in majority of airlines is as follows: (a) 10+2 pass from a recognised board of education. Some airlines prefer graduates.(b) Age of candidate should be between 18 to 25 years (c) Min height required is 157.5 centimetres and weight should be in proportion to height(d) Good Communication skills with mastery over spoken Hindi, English. Foreign language certification will be good additional qualification. You are not eligible for Air Hostess job.

Yes, you are eligible to become an air hostess after completion of 12th and some additional relevant courses offered by many institutes in India.

* Eligibility Criteria for an Air-hostess-training programme :
-One needs to pass plus two/ or a graduate degree with a diploma/degree in Hotel Management or Tourism Management.
-The aspirant must be eligible to hold an Indian Passport and should be below twenty-five years of age with a minimum height of 157.5 centimeters. The weight should be in proportion to height.
-One must be unmarried, with normal eyesight of 6/6 uncorrected vision in each eye.
-Fluency in English, Hindi and knowledge of an international language is an added advantage.
