The intake candidates with graduation background, especially Science background candidates are preferred. After the selection, the authority trains them to become an ATC. There are levels in the job where you are promoted depending on your skills. The Eligibility for ATC, is only Indian Nationals who have one of the following educational qualifications (with minimum 60% marks) can apply for the post of Junior Executive (ATC). Regular full time Bachelor's Degree (3 years) in Science (B.Sc ) with Physics and Mathematics from a recognized university. Or, full time regular Bachelor's degree in Engineering/Technology (BE /B.Tech) in any discipline.

Hi, To be eligible for becoming an air traffic controller in India, one should have an engineering degree in Electronics / Telecommunication / Radio Engineering / Electrical or Master's Degree in Electronics or any discipline with electronics, telecom, radio physics, as specialisation subjects or Master's with physics, maths and computer Science.
