Aircraft Maintenance Engineering

Hello Jatin, I think REAP is for admission to engineering colleges in Rajasthan. However"Aircraft Maintenance Engineering" is not an engineering course. It's a three year course leading to the degree of B.Sc. Hence one can not compare this with CSE. Both are on different levels. But yes, both have tremendous potential for placements after completion of the course. Best wishes to you.

It depends on your interest. Aircraft maintenance engineers work under the direct supervision and guidance of Aeronautical engineers for the maintenance of aircraft frame, engine, electrical systems and other ancillary fittings.

The course fee of A.M.E. Is depends on the A.M.E. Institute, the fee is not common for all institute its vary from institutes to institutes. The average fee for total course is 3lakh to 6 Lacs. Institute fee depend on the popularity, location, teaching staff etc. of the institute.

AME is off total 3 years course in which you clear the DGCA papers, but after doing diploma too it would be of 3 years only.

It depends on your talent and college also your wages when you are fresher wouldn't be much higher.

Yes, if you are interested it is a good course and a job oriented course mainly in which on field training is given.

There is no entrance examination for getting admission to AME course at Thakur Institute of Aviation Technology - TIAT, Mumbai. Admissions are given on first come, first take basis. Only passing marks in 10+2 level examination with Mathematics, Physics and Chemistry subjects from a recognized board or its equivalent for getting admission to this course
