For a specific answer, you would require to get in touch with the institute/college or the university from which you are pursuing B.Sc as they are the right party to answer.

Both are same. Earlier, A.M.E. was a course which offered a License after completion and was considered as a professional course. It did not had the option of earning a degree. But, now DGCA has changed certain norms and have given the recognition of a degree course to A.M.E. Now, it comes with a degree and hence the pass outs can call them a graduate. The License of A.M.E. Shall still be awarded by DGCA. And the degree is given by the University or college.
As per my knowledge, B.Sc Hons in AME is better, because it helps you get a graduation degree apart from the AME License.

A degree holds more value than a Diploma course. You will get full knowledge of a course in degree courses. Most of the employers prefer degree students. You learn more during a degree course as it involves complete studies. Even if you manage to get some job doing just Diploma course, there is a strong chance that you could lose out on some promotions and salary rise at your workplace because of stiff competition where other equally good performers have a degree in hand.
