You will than have to clear DGCA exams for becoming an AME after which DGCA will issue you BAMEL License.
This license shall allow you for the job role of AME with any airline.
It is also a graduation course you will be given B.Sc. degree after completion of the same.

Aircraft Maintenance Engineering (AME) is one of the best courses in aviation sector. AME is three year license programme regulated by Directorate General of Civil Aviation (DGCA), government. Since you have not explained properly about your diploma, I had to ask a question in response to your question.
You will have to verify if your diploma is equivalent to 10+2 PCM and acceptable to DGCA. If it is, you can take admission to AME course.
