Distance Learning Training Programs In Aviation Maintenance:
Online programs in aviation maintenance typically lead to either an associate or Bachelor's degree. In both programs, students gain a general education in science, math and business, as well as learn about aircraft structures and systems. Some, but not all, online aviation maintenance programs require students to complete hands-on training experiences either on-campus or at a designated location. Online aviation maintenance degree programs require a high school Diploma or equivalent for admission.

Hello there,
AME and aeronautical engineering have different prospects. Aeronautical engineers are involved primarily in designing aircraft and propulsion systems and in studying the aerodynamic performance of aircraft and construction materials. AME are have technical roles to maintain the flying crafts check for their technical faults and replace or repair it. To be a pilot you must have to take training from a flying academy and after completing your flying hours you'll get license to become a pilot. You can go after your engineering. So, go for AME pilot must have knowledge of all the technical terms into the flying crafts. Regards

To become a commercial pilot, one must possess CPL (Commercial Pilot Licence). This Licence is issued after a candidate clears the training programme from an Institute recognised by the Civil Aviation Authority of that particular country (DGCA in case of India). The same difference B.Sc and B.Tech has. B.Sc in aeronautics is all about the theory or the science of flight whereas AME is more coveted as it involves more practical knowledge. AME is the person who looks after the aircraft but is taught by B.Sc or M.Sc.

Hello Jibin,
You have actually stated something but have not proceeded to ask any query. Perhaps you desire the meaning of these terms? B.Tech or BE in Aeronautical engineering or Aerospace engineering is one and the same. B.Tech in avionics is the study of various airborne systems provided onboard which help it to fly. B.Tech aircraft maintenance engineering is misnomer. It's actually a three year B.Sc. Course in AME.

Obviously B.Tech is aircraft maintenance is 10 times better than B.Sc because with B.Tech you will get degree in technology and you'll get more job opportunities in both sector government and private and you can also pursue higher education such as M.Tech and you will get more annual packages than B.Sc holders.

Hi Jibin,
B.Sc. Offers you a degree where as AME course does not. AME course just makes you eligible to appear for paper 1/2 exams. AME course will be calculated as experience that is required to appear for DGCA paper 1 and 2 exams.
