The AJEE is a computer-based test, also known as an online test. The exam was conducted only in online mode at various exam centres. AJEE exam is of two hours duration wherein candidates need to attempt multiple choice questions. To get admission to most programmes at AISECT University, candidates are assessed on a scale of 100 marks. For admission to the LLM course, candidates are required to participate in an interview round following their successful completion of AJEE 2023.

The AJEE covers admission to various undergraduate and postgraduate programmes offered by AISECT University. The programmes for which candidates can apply after AJEE 2025 are engineering, management, law, education, nursing, agriculture and paramedical. The exam is usually conducted in June, 2025. This exam will be conducted for admission to various undergraduate and postgraduate programmes offered by the university. The tentative date of application form for AJEE 2025 is in April, 2025.
