Candidates enrolled in the Ph.D. programme at AKTU on a regular basis are eligible for a monthly stipend of INR 31,000 from MHRD for the first two years of the programme and a monthly stipend of INR 35,000 for the next three years of the course of study; after completing five years, if students are still working on their Doctoral degree, then they are provided monthly financial assistance of INR 12,000 for only one year. Ph.D. scholars are eligible for Stipend only if they have qualified for national-level entrance examinations such as UGC/ CSIR NET (JRF) examination, SET, GATE (with a valid score), or Teacher Research Fellowship.
