Alagappa University admit candidates to its BCom programme on the basis of merit in the last qualifying examination. Hence, the aspirants scores in Class 12 are considered. The aspirants who have passed Class 12 or equivalent exam are eligible for admission. Students can apply by filling out the application form on the official website. It shall also be available at the Alagappa University admission office. Students after final selections can pay the admission fee for seat confirmation.

Alagappa University admit students to its BA courses on merit-basis. Hence, the aspirants scores in the last qualifying examination, i.e., Class 12 is considered. There is no entrance exam score required for the selection. The eligible studenst can simply fill out the admission form to apply.

For BSc in Physical Education admission, the applicant shall have passed the exam with 40% (35% for reserved category) aggregate with proficiency in sports. The upper age limit for admission to BSc (Catering Science and Hotel Management) is 21 years. Students must check eligibility conditions carefully before admission form filling. The relevant documents also have to submit at the time of admission.

Alagappa University conducts an entrance exam to select candidates for B.Ed programme. The entrance test is conducted at Karaikudi only. Once the results are out, aspirants are selected based on their score in the entrance exam. The university then offers seats to the selected candidates.

Candidates need to complete bachelor's degree in Tamil/ English/ Physics/ Chemistry/ Mathematics/ Botany/ Zoology/ History with at least 55% aggregate for OC (45% aggregate for BC, 43% aggregate for MBC and 40% aggregate in SC/ ST) to apply for Alagappa University B.Ed course. Aspirants must have the documents proving their eligibility for verification at later stages of admission.

Aspirants must hold the documents proving their eligibility for verification at later stages. The university selects candidates for MA based on their merit in the last qualifying exam.For admission to MA in Journalism and Mass Communication, aspirants should have passed the degree course with a minimum of 55% aggregate (50% for SC/ST). Additionally, a 50% minimum aggregate is required for admission to the MA in Life Skill Education course.

The eligibility criteria for online B.Com is bare minimum at Alagappa University. You just need to have a valid certificate for passing the 10+2 examination. Just ensure that when you are submitting your passing certificate, it has been copy attested by a Gazetted Officer.
