Alagappa University BSc in Physical Education is a three-year programme, divided into six semesters. The course curriculum includes semester-wise list of subjects. The subjects included in the Alagappa University BSc in Yoga course are around the foundation of Yoga and relative studies. This course curriculum is designed to provide theory knowledge of the art along with practical practices. Alagappa University shall release cutoff for BSc in Physical Education based on candidates' score in the medical/physical tests. The cutoff varies every year as it depends upon factors, such as number of applicants, the highest score, and seat intake. In 2023, the last round percentage for the All-India category candidates was 70.8, which was 7.8 points more than the 2022 cutoff.  Hence, the exact cutoff marks cannot be predicted. However, it can be around the aforementioned cutoff marks.

The registrations are now closed for the BSc programmes of Alagappa University. Aspirants could visit the official website to register and complete the application formalities. The aspirants have to ensure that they submit their forms on or before the prescribed deadline. The last date to submit Alagappa University BSc application form was May 31.

Alagappa University BSc course admission is merit-based. Hence, the selection is done based on merit in the last qualifying examination, i.e., Class 12. However, for the BSc in Physical Education, the candidates are selected based on performance in Medical Test, Physical Efficiency Test and Games Test. Candidates who have passed Class 12 from a recognised board with required minimum percentage can apply. The applications are accepted via online mode through the official website of the university. Following conclusion of application process, a merit list is released and then seat allotment is done.

Candidates are required to submit the Alagappa University BSc application fee for application submission. The fee payment can be done through credit card/debit card or net banking. There is no seat reservation at the university for SC/ST candidates. However, Alagappa University reserve seats for differently-abled students applying for the BSc course. The university reserve 5% of seats in each course for this category candidates. Apart from this, the SC/ST candidates may get some seat relaxation, if approved by the government of Tamil Nadu.

The university admit candidates as per the sanctioned seat intake for the respective college. It follows the reservation policy as prescribed by the Government of Tamil Nadu. Moreover, there are 5% seats reserved for the differently-abled students (Government Letter No.12599/K2/2017-1, dated 21.07.2017). To avail seat under this category, candidates have to submit the relevant documents.
