Alagappa University has various faculty members. All the members have rich Teaching & Research Skills, and Project & Consultancy acumen to take care of academic / research works. The faculty members are enrolled as Regular Teaching Assistants, Visiting Professors, System Programmers and Master Technicians. The faculty members are very strong in publications in reputed refereed journals, securing projects from government and business institutions, organising national and international conferences and in collaborating with Indian and overseas research institutions.

Yes, Alagappa University hostel facilities to its students. It has 15 hostels with 427 rooms for men and women research scholars and graduate students of the University. The hostel rooms are well-furnished and well-ventilated. One Reading Room is available for each hostel. The university also has three Guest Houses viz. University Main Guest House, International Students Residence and Faculty Guest House. The guest houses have telephone with intercom facility, Wi-Fi connectivity, computer with internet facility and 24-hours room service.
