The cut-off for various course and admission in PG courses in AMU lies around 50 percentile in UG Degree. For SC/ST it's lower to 30-40 but for general the percentile is 50%.

The eligibility criteria for M.Com in AMU is B.Com(Hons.) with not less than 55% marks in aggregate.

Candidates must have at least 50% marks in B.A. / B.Sc. / B.Com. / B. Th. In aggregate and in the subject concerned and/or in the Master's Degree in Science / Social Sciences / Humanities, Bachelor in Engineering & Technology with specialisation in Science and Mathematics with 55% marks. The candidate should have studied two school subjects at graduate/equivalent recognised Madarsa education level as main or subsidiary subjects. The candidates with recognised Madarsa degree/qualification may opt Arabic / Persian / Urdu / Theology as a Teaching subject. The eligibility criteria for giving entrance examination is as follows:
For M. Sc. (Zoology) : B. Sc. with Zoology as the main subject and any two of the following subsidiary subjects-Botany / Chemistry / Genetics / Biochemistry / Biotechnology / Fisheries or
B. Sc. with Zoology as one of the subjects of equal value along with any two of the following
optional subjects- Botany / Chemistry / Genetics / Biochemistry / Biotechnology / Fisheries.
Note: The candidate must have secured at least 55% marks in zoology as well as 55% marks in
