You will have to qualify AMUEEE for getting admission to AMU B.Tech. You may fall under the category of NRI and increase your chances of entering AMU B.Tech. For more information, have a look at AMU admission brochure.

AMUEEE is the engineering entrance exam for AMU B.Tech. You can get admission based on the merit (rank). Internal candidates (student of any AMU School) will require lesser marks as compared to those who belong to the external category.
Different categories for reservation of seats in AMUEEE:

AMU does not offer lateral entry for B.tech course. You will have to qualify the AMUEEE entrance exam and begin your course from first year.

The date has not been declared yet. Generally the test is conducted in the end of April.

If you have completed your Diploma from AMU then yes you can directly start from 2nd year and it does not matter whether you do from AMU or any other. You have to qualify the engineering entrance test of AMU.

The eligibility criteria for giving entrance examination is as follows:
For M. Sc. (Zoology) : B. Sc. with Zoology as the main subject and any two of the following subsidiary subjects-Botany / Chemistry / Genetics / Biochemistry / Biotechnology / Fisheries or
B. Sc. with Zoology as one of the subjects of equal value along with any two of the following
optional subjects- Botany / Chemistry / Genetics / Biochemistry / Biotechnology / Fisheries.
Note: The candidate must have secured at least 55% marks in zoology as well as 55% marks in
aggregate of zoology and subsidiary/ optional subjects.
For B. Sc. (Hons.) with main subjects Zoology :

Yes, you need to qualify NEET for getting admission in MBBS AMU. Internal students (those who have passed 12th from AMU within last 3 years) get some benefits.
Internal cut-off: 550-575
External cut-off: more than 600
Maximum marks: 720
