The documents to be presented at the time of physical reporting for provisional admission completion at AMU are as follows: Marks sheet of qualifying examination (with four self-attested photocopies)Transfer/migration and character certificate from the last attended institutionHigh school certificate or its equivalent in support of the date of birthFive (2.5 x 3.0 cms) recent front-facing colour photographs (in white background)Documents in support of Special Categories claimed in the application formLeave sanction/relieving order from the employer for the entire duration of the course, if employedName removal certificate from the rolls of the concerned faculty/college/unit (if already enrolled on any full-time course of study at AMU)Two self-addressed envelopes bearing postage stamps worth INR 22 each (to be submitted in the Office of the Provost of Hall of Residence/NRSC allotted). Two undertakings on plain paper – one on your behalf and the other on behalf of your parents/guardian regarding not indulging in ragging the latest certificate of vaccination for Typhoid, Cholera and Hepatitis “B” – (applicable only for BSc Nursing course)

To check the merit list, it is mandatory for students to visit the official website of Aligarh Muslim University on a regular basis.  Step 4: Counselling & fee payment In this step, candidates whose names appear in the merit list released by the University need to appear for the counselling process. Based on the candidates' performance in the counselling process, AMU will release the final list of students for admission. Selected candidates are then required to pay the admission fee to confirm their seats.
