The importance of NIOS PDPET 6 month's bridge course rose sky high after the HRD ministry directed that the teachers teaching primary students should compulsory have the D.El.Ed by March, 2019. If they do not get embraced with the degree, they would lose their jobs. Yes, you are eligible, in fact perhaps over eligible. I have a suggestion. If you now do PG in engineering then you will be eligible to work as a lecturer in a college with better salary. You can in fact start a class to teach students about different entrance exams. Become an enterpreneur.

For candidates from General and OBC categories, the upper age limit is 22 years as on 1.7.2018, therefore, only those candidates whose date of birth falls on or after 1.7.1996 are eligible to apply.

Now, I don't think, it will be possible as the admissions are mostly closed in most of the colleges. However, I would advise you to decide on the college and check with them once if they have few seats left.
