There will be an aptitude test followed by a GD/PI.
Coming to the placement part, only 50 % of students are getting placed in HR.

Alliance University - Bangalore is a decent college. It does not come under top 50 management institutes. I would suggest you to try for a top management institute.

Yes it is possible to continue from second year. You'll have to apply for the transfer certificate in your current college and also contact the University Administration to know the details and proper procedure. The administration will further guide you. The usual documents required are NOC from both colleges , T.C from current college , Marksheets of 10th and 12th class.

60 percentile in entrance exams like MAT, CAT NMAT, XAT, etc will give you the eligibility to attend admission process.
