Hi buddy, MD Emergency Medicine. Pros - the most recognisable degree in EM right now, job pretty much guaranteed, can become Medical Faculty. Cons - highly volatile, can get recognised at any time, not many clear cut training programs. Very few MCI recognised programs in the country right now. DNB Emergency Medicine. Pros - More stable than MD EM, can become faculty, training programme more definite and fixee. Cons - More difficult to pass than MD EM, step-sister treatment to MD EM, requires a longer period of senior residency before being eligible to become faculty. MEM (SEMI/GWU). After completing medical school, an aspiring psychiatrist must complete four or five years of psychiatric internship and residency training. In addition, they must be licensed to practice by their state. Unani medicine does not offer that opportunity though.
