If your Diploma is approved by AICTE, then by giving Lateral JEE in Karnataka and securing good marks you can surely get admission or else try management quota. Good Luck.

CSE (Computer Science and Engineering) and IT (Information technology) both are quite similar in some or the other manner. I always have come across students who are confused between these two fields because of the lack of the understanding of the minute differences and similarities between the two engineering streams.

Hi Taleem,
BE in CS is a better option. BCA only teaches you about computer software and applications, while BE in computer science teaches you both hardware as well as software. Hence, BE in CS has a better value in the market. Placement opportunities will also be better if you pursue BE in CS.
